Under the leadership of Turkey Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce & Industry (TBCCI), a high powered business delegation from Bangladesh comprising 15 business elites from difference business sector have participated in “Turkey World Trade Bridge” held from 24th to 30th October 2011 which was organized by the Confederation of Businessmen and Industrialists of Turkey (TUSKON). About 750 exhibitors were displayed their products in the trade summit, and Thousands of participants were visited the event from Hundreds of countries.

To make close interaction between Turkish and Bangladeshi people, the Turkey Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce & Industry hold Iftar Party in Every Ramadan. This year the TBCCI hold the Iftar Party at the Water Garden Radisson Hotel on 21st of August 2011.
HE. Mr. Md. Motahar Hossain, Hob’ble State Minister for Primary and Mass Education, Government of Bangladesh, HE Mr. Gonenc Agacikoglu, Charge D’Affairs, Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Dhaka and Mr. A. K. Azad, president of FBCCI were present as Special Guests. About two hundred Turkish and Bangladeshi business people were attended in the Iftar Party.

A high powered business delegation from Florya Businessmen Association (FIADER) under TUSKON has paid a visit to Bangladesh from 08th April 2011 to 13th April 2011 to identify the areas of business cooperation. The delegation was comprised of different business sector. The Turkey Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce & Industry (TBCCI) extended its cooperation in holding programmes, meetings, match making etc.
The delegation paid a visit to Chittagong for two days, during their visit they hold meetings with the Mayor of Chittagong City Corporation, Chittagong Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CCCI) and other some elite business leaders of Chittagong. The delegation has shown interest in the recycling sector i.e. to produce the energy by wastage of Ctg. City Corporation, in this regards they have closely discuss with the Mayor and will submit a proposal to him very shortly. As early as possible they also will pay a visit again for fruitful discussion in this regard. The Mayor appreciated their theme of business and stressed that he will be in touch with the TBCCI to implement this sort of business. He further requests the delegation to make more invest in different sector and assured to extend utmost cooperation to the Turkish Businessmen for strengthening business ties between Turkey and Chittagong. .
